Government To Build 1,681 PPR In Sarawak This Year - Halimah

"KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 (Bernama) -- The Government to build seven People's Housing Projects (PPR) totaling 1,681 units in Sarawak this year, the Dewan Rakyat sitting was told.
Deputy urban wellbeing, housing and local authority minister Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique said of the total, 439 PPR units would be develop in Sungai Tengah, Kuching, Sarawak end of this month.
""The project involves construction of six PPR, which are the PPR in Santok, Tabuan Melayu, Sri Aman, Samarahan, Petrajaya and Lander,"" she said replying to a question from Datuk Seri Dr Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad (BN-Mukah) who wanted the ministry to disclose the total units of PPR in Sarawak in 2015.
Halimah said five PPR projects in the state had been completed, among them the PPR Sri Wangi (200), Batu Lima (816), Seduan (500), Kemena (1,000) and Batu Gong (500).
