"SHAH ALAM: Sin Heap Lee Development Sdn Bhd (SHL) recently launched its Sri Budiman Apartments — an affordable 536-unit guarded home development within the 150-acre (60.7ha) Alam Budiman township.
The project in Section U10 of Shah Alam comprises 12 blocks of four- and five-storey walk-up apartments. The units are priced between RM168,000 and RM178,000, with estimated built-ups from 850 sq ft to 874 sq ft. Each unit has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two free parking bays.
The project is part of the Selangor government’s Rumah Selangorku initiative that aims to offer more affordable homes. It was launched by Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Mohammed Ali, who presented offer letters to 18 potential buyers.
Speaking at the ceremony to hand over the letters, SHL Consolidated Bhd chairman Tengku Abdul Samad Shah Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah said the project will be completed by December 2015. The development is in addition to the existing 1,320 homes in Alam Budiman.
“SHL is working closely with the Selangor Housing and Property Board in selecting buyers based on criteria such as buyers with a salary range of between RM3,001 and RM8,000. We are offering units that are near completion, with buyers able to view the apartments. The units now open for sale will be fully completed by December 2015,” he said.
Tengku Abdul Samad said privacy and comfort were the concepts for the design of the apartments. There are only four units per floor. He said the project is aimed at giving residents high-quality living at an affordable price.
The township is well connected and easily accessible via the Shah Alam-Batu Arang Highway. Residents will also have direct access to Damansara, Sungai Buloh, the Universiti Teknologi Mara campus and the Guthrie Corridor Expressway. Eventually a multipurpose community hall, surau, reading room, laundrette, kindergarten, kiosks and badminton courts will be available within the gated neighbourhood."
