PR1MA Owners Express Gratitude To Own Dream Houses
SUNGAI PETANI, Jan 17-- Owners of the 1Malaysia People's Housing (PR1MA) houses here, expressed their gratitude after receiving mock keys to their new home from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today.

One of the recipients, a private sector worker from Kuala Lumpur Nur Aliyatul Fadilah Radzuan, 25, said although she was still single, owning a house could become a good investment that could guarantee a better future.

She said the prices offered by PR1MA which were far cheaper than those on the market had attracted her into applying for the house.

A Siamese, Dina Som A/P Som Chi, 36, said being selected as one of the PR1MA homeowners proved that the government had never marginalised any race in the country.

"From the first day I registered for PR1MA in 2015, the registration and loan application process went smoothly," said the private sector employee.

For a teacher Zairani Omar, 50, apart from offering affordable prices, the strategic location and nice house design had made her interested in owning the PR1MA home.

"I bought a PR1MA double-storey terrace house only at RM313,000, compared with other locations where the price could reach up to RM500,000 per unit and this made me keen to own it," she said.

Najib and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor today attended the PR1MA community celebration event at PR1MA Residency Puteri Jaya 1, here.

A total of 2,744 units priced at RM100,000 to RM400,000 each was built at this residency.
