PR1MA To Build Over 23,000 Housing Units In Melaka

Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) will build more than 23,000 fairly-priced housing units in Melaka involving 21 projects worth over RM4.6 billion in gross development value.
Of this number, 11,285 units involving 10 projects are already in various stages of construction, the corporation said in a statement today.
It said the projects were located at the city centre, as well as in other strategic areas such as Alor Gajah, Melaka Tengah, Klebang and Masjid Tanah.
PR1MA Chief Operating Officer Datuk Ar Aminuddin Abdul Manaf said of 1.4 million Malaysians who had registered with PR1MA, 46,377 applicants were from Melaka.
"The availability of PR1MA projects in Melaka are indeed timely to support housing needs of the middle-income group (M40) residing in the state which is currently undergoing rapid urbanisation," he said.
Ar Aminuddin said PR1MA would hold a two-day PR1MA Open Day (POD) beginning April 29 to showcase two of its high-rise projects in Melaka, namely the PR1MA@Melaka Tengah 1 in Jalan Tun Perak and the PR1MA@Melaka Tengah 2 in Jalan Pokok Mangga.
The event will be held at the Melaka International Trade Centre from 9am to 5pm.
