Gamuda Land launches campaign to sell 250 properties nationwide
Gamuda Land is introducing its Booster Shot campaign, comprising financial assistance solutions and incentives for Malaysian home seekers.

Its chief operating officer Aw Sei Cheh said the company recognises the impact of lockdown restrictions on livelihoods in Malaysia and the homeownership aspirations of Malaysians everywhere.

Aw said with this in mind, it is doing its part to help home seekers achieve their dream despite the current challenging times.

The Booster Shot campaign comprises financial assistance solutions addressing differential sum and monthly instalment payments, coupled with incentives such as furnishing packages, and complimentary memorandum of transfer (MoT), SPA (sales and purchase agreement) and home loan legal fees in conjunction with the National Home Ownership Campaign (HOC).

Aw said potential homebuyers can personalise their property packages, mixing and matching the available incentives according to individual needs.

Buyers can also choose from more than 250 properties available under this campaign across the company's portfolio nationwide, he said.

Participating projects include Gamuda Cove, Gamuda Gardens, twentyfive.7, Jade Hills, HighPark Suites and Kundang Estates in Klang Valley, Horizon Hills in Johor, and Bukit Bantayan Residences in Sabah.

The campaign runs until August 31, 2021, or while stocks last.

Gamuda Land is offering rent-to-own packages for selected units through home convert, in partnership with Maybank's popular HouzKEY programme.

Under the scheme, home seekers can move into a Gamuda Land property immediately, with the option to purchase the unit at a pre-determined price after five years.

The campaign also offers two financial assistance routes - home assist with interest-free home loan instalments over five years for up to 20 per cent of the property price, and home extension with free home loan instalments over a year.

Aw said buyers can opt for either home convert, home assist or home extend for financial assistance, according to their individual needs.

They can also choose between a complimentary furnishing package or MoT fees to sweeten the deal.

"All Gamuda Land Booster Shot applicants can enjoy complimentary legal fees for their SPA and home loan, as well as interest-free home loan instalments over two years for up to 10 per cent of the property price, under the Home Ezy programme," Aw said.

The first 50 buyers to sign a SPA under the Booster Shot campaign will also receive a complimentary electrical/furnishing voucher worth RM3,000, to assist them with the first steps of their homeownership journey when moving in.
