Vizione Holdings Bhd appears to be clinching more development jobs in the property sector.
The company announced today that it has won a contract to build 2,500 affordable apartments worth a total of RM500 million in Putrajaya in partnership with Pan Sejati Development (M) Sdn Bhd (PSD).
Its wholly-owned unit Vizione Builder Sdn Bhd has entered into a development agreement with PSD to develop the housing project called Residensi Prihatin.
PSD had been appointed by Perbadanan Putrajaya to design, develop and construct the project on a 7.27-hectare site in Precinct 7.
Vizione managing director Datuk Ng Aun Hooi said in a statement that the company is confident Residensi Prihatin will be well received given that the project is located in Precinct 7, a matured catchment of established residential and commercial areas.
This project is within walking distance to the Putrajaya Sentral MRT station under the MRT Putrajaya Line or MRT 2, which is currently under construction and slated to begin operations in early 2023, he said.
This is the fifth contract that Vizione has won this year.
Last month it secured an RM116.05 million contract in Langkawi, Kedah to build a 14-storey block comprising a four-star hotel with 238 rooms, six service apartments, five office units, and three shop lots.
The two-year contract was awarded by Inspirasi Langkawi Sdn Bhd and works started on September 1.
