Phase 1 of Mah Sing's Erica @ Meridin has sold out; Phase 2 is now open
Mah Sing Group Bhd's Phase 2 Erica @ Meridin East in Johor is now open for registration, with 210 units available.
The developer is launching Phase 2 following the complete take-up for Phase 1 during its official property launch last weekend.
Phase 1 offered 155 units of two-storey link homes with a gross development value (GDV) of RM79.3 million.
The homes are priced from RM417,000 and have a land size of 18' x 70', a built-up area of 1,601 sq ft, four bedrooms, and three bathrooms.
Datuk Ho Han Sang, group chief executive officer of Mah Sing, said that the excellent take-up was due to the township's unique value propositions, which include affordably priced homes with spacious layouts, various facilities, and 24-hour security within a rich green living environment.
"We are pleased to announce that we attained a 100 per cent take-up for Phase 1, all thanks to our digital efforts in reaching out to our potential customers. It is also a testament that demand for affordably priced properties with good quality at strategic locations will remain resilient," he said.
Ho said that the positive response demonstrates that landed property segments are still in high demand, and he is confident that Phase 2 Erica will be fully booked.
Meridin East is Mah Sing's largest mixed development, consisting of 1,313 acres of residential, commercial, and light industries development.
It is a sustainable township with over 500 acres of green belt surrounding the area that was first launched in 2016.
To date, more than 2,000 units of homes have been handed over to purchasers and over 70 per cent are occupied.
According to Ho, 30 per cent of the township has already been developed, including the landscape and facilities.
"This will be a value-added feature for this project because our potential buyers will be able to see the township and the quality of our houses, giving them more confidence in our products," Ho explained.
Mah Sing will soon open the new Meridin East Interchange, which will provide direct access to the township from the Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE).
The interchange connects directly to Ixora Park City, the commercial centre in Meridin East, via Jalan Kong Kong. It provides seamless connectivity to major highways such as SDE, Pasir Gudang Highway, and Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway.
Ho said that the interchange will benefit Meridien East residents and the surrounding community by providing easy access to previously inaccessible areas.
Mah Sing has also expanded Jalan Kong Kong, which faces Meridin East, from a two-lane to a 40-metre four-lane access road.
