SkyWorld unveils the country's highest residential skybridge
SkyWorld Development Group, a city-developer, reached two significant milestones with the timely completion of SkyAwani 3 Residences, an affordable housing project in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, and, most importantly, the SkyBridge on the 52nd floor.
The Malaysia Book of Records awarded SkyBridge the title of 'Highest Residential SkyBridge in Malaysia.'
SkyBridge, which stands 170.55 metres (or 559.54 feet) above ground level, is located on the 52 levels of SkyAwani 3's facilities floor.
The 550-metre long bridge connects all three towers at SkyAwani 3, allowing residents to enjoy unobstructed views of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline.
Jwan Heah, chief marketing officer of The Malaysia Book of Records congratulated SkyWorld for achieving the 'Highest Residential SkyBridge in Malaysia' recognition.
Heah is astounded that a low-cost home can be so impressive, with comprehensive amenities, an outstanding façade, and quality workmanship.
"Well done, SkyWorld team, and congratulations to the future residents who will be enjoying the million-dollar panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur high up from Level 52," he said.
SkyWorld chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng said that the company is not only providing a comfortable home but is also improving the living lifestyle of those who live at SkyAwani 3.
"With strong commitment to quality workmanship and comprehensive facilities, our homebuyers will be experiencing an enjoyable sky living experience at SkyAwani 3," he said.
SkyAwani 3 is a 'Residensi Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia' project built to Qlassic (Quality Assessment System in Construction) standards.
Sitting on a 4.55-acre leasehold parcel adjacent to the ongoing SkyAwani 4, SkyAwani 3 has a gross development value of RM570 million.
The development has 1,905 units, a 24-hour, three-tiered security perimeter, and 22 recreational facilities, including a swimming pool with a bubble jet jacuzzi, a games room, a full basketball court, and a gymnasium.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom units with an area of 800 square feet are priced at RM300,000.
The maintenance fee, inclusive of the sinking fund, is RM210 per month.
According to Lee, the units were quickly snapped up after the project was announced in July 2017.
SkyWorld is assisting the government's initiative to provide one million affordable housing units by 2029.
To date, the developer has launched 6,236 affordable housing units and is a major contributor to 'Residensi Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia.'
Lee said that SkyWorld's Awani Series is one of the most sought-after affordable homes due to its exceptional value of good price, practical layout, quality workmanship, and full-fledged condominium facilities.
According to him, all of the Awani Series are fully booked, and the sixth installment is in the works.
SkyWorld intends to launch four projects in Kuala Lumpur this year, in Setapak, Cheras, Taman Melawati, and Setiawangsa.
