IJM Land hopes to increase buyer confidence with its buy-back scheme
IJM Land Bhd has launched SWITCH, a buy-back scheme for home buyers and homeowners, in collaboration with RHB Bank Bhd.
SWITCH is the property industry's first innovative financial solution. It allows homeowners to return their property to the developer in the event of involuntary unemployment by their employers during the coverage period, which runs from the date of the Sale & Purchase Agreement to the date of CCC (Certificate of Completion & Compliance).
The pilot projects will be Savvy @ Riana Dutamas KL and Duta Perintis Apartments @ Bandar Alam Suria.
Riana Dutamas @ Savvy KL is a freehold serviced residence with 722 to 1,232 square feet of floor space. The property is expected to be completed in 2024 and has a starting price of RM540,000.
Duta Perintis is a low-density apartment measuring about 850 square feet. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and is priced from RM310,000.

According to Jeffrey Ng Eow Oo, managing director of group community banking at RHB Banking Group, SWITCH helps to address some key challenges faced by aspiring new homeowners, such as the possibility of involuntary unemployment.
"This allows them to step confidently ahead towards owning their own homes," he said.
In conjunction with the SWITCH Scheme, IJM Land is running its first annual campaign, Living Masterpiece, in which the developer assists aspiring home buyers in owning their dream home by offering attractive deals and customising easy ownership plans to their lifestyle and requirements.
IJM Land is providing complimentary interior design concepts (for selected properties) to IJM Land home buyers as home ideas and inspirations.
Homebuyers will also benefit from significant savings and incentives, such as no loan legal fees, no stamp duty on the Memorandum of Transfer (MOT), and free furnishing packages (applicable to selected properties, and the terms and conditions apply).
The Living Masterpiece campaign will cover projects under construction and ready-to-move-in homes in Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan, and the southern region from July 1 to December 31, 2022.
Single-storey terraces, double-storey terraces, semi-detached homes, bungalows, bungalow land, apartments, and condominiums are among the properties available to home buyers.
