The "build first, then sell" method used by HIL Industries has proven to be successful, says its MD

The "build first, then sell" strategy used by HIL Industries Berhad for its most recent product offering in Selangor has succeeded as evidenced by the project's favourable reception from the general public during a recent soft launch.
The plastic solution provider-turned-property developer recently opened for sale Garden Homes on a 5.1-acre tract of land within its Amverton Links development in Klang.
According to the company's managing director Datuk Milton Ng, the Garden Homes townhouses project is expected to generate property sales worth RM43 million.
The 100 town homes in the gated and guarded project have build-ups between 980 and 1,259 square feet. Each unit has a starting price of RM470,000.
Ng said that since attitudes toward the real estate market have improved, he is certain that the project would be well received by homeowners, much like the company's earlier developments in Amverton Links.
"The improvement in sentiment can be observed through the positive response received for Garden Homes," he said.
Ng said that the Garden Homes project is on schedule to be ready in the fourth quarter of 2025, with 50 per cent of the work already completed.
Future Garden Home owners will have access to amenities like five years of free clubhouse use at Amverton Links and two years of free maintenance expenses.
From now until March of next year, HIL Industries plans to introduce new real estate projects with a gross development value (GDV) of RM275.7 million.
A couple of the projects it will be launching are 141 stratified bungalows in Amverton Cove, Carey Island, and 154 stratified double-storey terrace houses in Sungai Buloh.
