168 Park Selayang, formerly Selayang Star City, is selling apartments from RM297,000
First-time home buyers looking for affordable properties near KL City Centre might consider 168 Park Selayang in the mature Selayang neighbourhood.
The project includes 1,433 apartments spread across three blocks (Blocks A, B and C).
Block A is available in eight sizes ranging from 560 to 1050 square feet, with a starting price of RM297,000.
Block B comes in four sizes, which will be launched soon.
The developer, 168 Park Selayang Sdn Bhd, has launched a sales gallery to provide homebuyers a sense of what they will get for their money.
Formerly known as Selayang Star City, the 168 Park Selayang project was previously developed by Leadmont Group and it offered three high-rise residential towers, a serviced suites block and a mall.
The first phase, with over 600 designer suites in Block C, was launched in 2014, before the project was eventually abandoned in 2017.
The High Court granted permission for Infra Segi Sdn Bhd, the parent company of 168 Park Selayang, to relaunch the project. The project was subsequently renamed 168 Park Selayang.
168 Park Selayang chief executive officer Edward Lum said the company is in a unique position to provide friendly pricing due to its contractor background.
"By leveraging our knowledge of the construction process and using efficient building practices, we are able to pass on substantial savings to our customers," he said.
Buyers can live in a strategically positioned, modern, nature-friendly unit for as little as RM297,000, according to Lum.
He said that one of the main advantages of 168 Park Selayang is its easy access via Jalan Kuching, Middle Ring Road 2, DUKE, and the Kepong-Selayang Highway.
The project includes 25 retreat-inspired facilities that cater to the market's need for a wellness-centered lifestyle.
"We are already seeing positive interest towards the development since the gallery launch," Lum said.
168 Park Selayang will be supplemented with a lifestyle neighbourhood mall measuring 235,000 square feet.
The two-storey mall, which will incorporate a cinema, will serve as a vibrant and convenient social centre.
