KUALA LUMPUR:I-Berhad will scale up Wyndham-managed suites in Kuala Lumpur City Centre following a three-fold surge in bookings for Wyndham Suites KLCC.
Earlier this year, the property developer entered into a partnership with Wyndham International to manage more rooms within Zone 1 KLCC.

She said that this partnership has effectively attracted discerning business travelers to Wyndham Suites KLCC, leveraging Wyndham's extensive network and reputation for delivering top-notch experiences.

With escalating demand, particularly from business travelers originating from China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States of America, more rooms will be made available by the year's end, she said.
Ong said that this expansion underscores the company's commitment to providing unmatched comfort, luxury, and convenience to guests seeking an exceptional stay in Kuala Lumpur's vibrant heart.
She highlighted the strategic advantage of the property's proximity to iconic landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers, Merdeka 119, TRX Exchange, and KL Tower, further enhancing the allure of the Wyndham brand.
I-Berhad first announced a partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for the 50-storey property known as Wyndham Suites KLCC in September 2023.
Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong, chairman of I-Berhad, reportedly said the rationale for the partnership is to offer property investors luxury living and the prestige of owning a piece of the Wyndham legacy, which is often associated with 5-star experiences and exceptional services.
He said that the collaboration will not only improve I-Berhad's overall brand reputation and visibility but will also provide a powerful platform for the company's RM10 billion i-City project in Shah Alam to gain greater international exposure.
Lim added that through cross-promotional activities, the influx of visitors to Wyndham Suites KLCC will extend to i-City.
I-Berhad has spent RM10 million on lightscape and immersive edutainment enhancements such as a 5D immersive winterland and a 50,000-square-foot indoor digital sports arena.
