KUALA LUMPUR: SP Setia Bhd expects its new LakePoint Complex to draw visitors from Setia AlamImpian township as well as nearby catchment areas and neighbouring communities, with an estimated monthly foot traffic ranging from 10,000 to 12,000.

The main component of LakePoint Complex is a two-storey LakePoint Central, which features 28,038 square feet of retail space, and is currently occupied up to 83 per cent.

Its retail section comprises amenities such as a wellness centre, a grocery store serving as an anchor tenant, a hair and beauty salon, a fashion boutique, and an art gallery.

"The LakePoint Club offers recreational facilities including four badminton courts, a futsal court, an Olympic-size infinity swimming pool, wading pool, sauna, dance studio, games room, a gym overlooking LakePoint Park and a grand ballroom with a capacity of 1,000 people.

"It also has a redesigned park with musical instruments, sculptures and solar powered lighting that is aligning with our ESG (environmental, social, governance) initiatives," it said.

SP Setia chairman Tan Sri Syed Anwar Jamalullail said since the opening of the facility to the public in August 2023, it has seen positive feedback and a consistent number of visitors from its intended audience and nearby areas in Shah Alam, averaging around 12,000 visitors per month.

"Our new LakePoint Complex comprises the two-storey LakePoint Central (retail centre), LakePoint Club (clubhouse) and LakePoint Gallerie (sales gallery and office), which is situated next to the improved LakePoint Park (31-acre park and lake) that is further developed by landscape and infrastructure enhancements," he said at the unveiling of the latest phase of its Setia AlamImpian township.

SP Setia is confident that the complex will be an integral part of its growth trajectory in Setia AlamImpian, further strengthening its position in the Klang Valley.

Yesterday, the company unveiled its latest commercial property in the Setia AlamImpian township, covering 1,235 acres of freehold land in Shah Alam.

The event was attended and officiated by Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
