PJ development sees full take-up within 18 months of launch
A NEW development in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, has achieved a 100% take-up rate within just 18 months of its launch.
Tropicana Miyu, a joint-venture project by Tropicana Corporation Bhd and Temokin Development Sdn Bhd, has garnered strong demand with vacant possession handovers ongoing since Nov 7, 2024.
Located on a prime 1.13ha site in Section 17, Petaling Jaya, the freehold condominium blends modern design with historical elements and offers excellent connectivity.
The development has earned an impressive 85% score in the Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC), reflecting high standards of workmanship.
When contacted for the early handover of vacant possessions, 271 homeowners highlighted the project’s modern minimalist aesthetics and extensive facilities.
This low-density condominium features 11 types of layouts and has a gross development value of RM261mil.
Tropicana’s managing director for marketing, sales, and business development, Ixora Ang said, “Tropicana Miyu was launched in 2020, and the first sales and purchase agreement was signed in September 2020.
“These pull factors attracted many keen buyers and we sold more than 60% of the units within the first six months. Within 18 months, we achieved 100% take-up.”
Ang also emphasised the development’s commitment to sustainability.
“Remaining dedicated to our green commitments, the condominium has low-emissivity glass for Level 7, which includes the lift lobby, gym, kids playroom, and multipurpose hall.
“It has also been installed with a rainwater harvesting system, bicycle racks and car charging bays.”
Temokin executive director Jeremiah Tan Chien Yih said, “Our partnership with Tropicana is into its sixth year. It has been highly successful. So, we were pleased to work with Tropicana again on this development.”
