NCM Co Celebrates 38 Years of Auction Excellence with 8 Hours of Non-Stop Property and Vehicle Bidding at the July Auction Carnival 2025
Kuala Lumpur, 24 July 2025 — The July Auction Carnival 2025, held in conjunction with NCM Co’s 38 Years of Auction Excellence, delivered an electrifying experience for both bidders and visitors — marking another milestone in Malaysia’s growing auction scene.
With over 700 listings from 13 participating banks and a strong line-up of Owner Auction™ and Lapan Arts entries, the cultural themed carnival drew massive attention from online and on-site bidders.
The event saw impressive digital engagement, recording over 220,000 visits to its auction property listings, a clear sign of strong buyer interest. This momentum led to tangible outcomes, with over 200 successful bidders securing lots across property, automotive, and art categories.
This surge of interest translated into real results. A total of 120 properties were sold with a combined value of over RM40 million, while 79 vehicles were successfully auctioned off, contributing over RM1.6 million in sales.
Buyers were able to secure excellent deals while owners benefited from competitive bidding that drove prices upward. A standout example was a 3 bedroom service apartment in Seri Kembangan Selangor, which attracted over 20 bidders, pushing the property from its Reserve Price of RM277,000 to a final sale price of RM352,000 — a 27% up bid. Mr Low Chee Hian, director of Ng Chan Mau & Co Sdn Bhd, mentioned that the Carnival has achieved its goal to attract market’s attention and real-time competition in achieving fair market value for the owners. “This is our third successful Auction Carnival and we will continue to make buying properties and car via public auction easy and bring good values to both owners and buyers”.
Beyond the numbers, the carnival delivered memorable experiences. One of the highlights was a live performance of the Magunatip, or Sabah’s traditional bamboo dance, which had the crowd on their feet, clapping and cheering in rhythm with the beat — a celebration of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage. There were also booths setup by banks for mortgage, credit cards, and personal and company loan applications by the public.
Registered bidders received exclusive welcome gifts, while some successful bidders walked away with exciting household electricals prizes such as refrigerator, dishwashers, steam ovens, pressure cookers & steam irons.
As part of the ongoing effort to make auctions more accessible, the art auction held on 24 July featured works from both local and international artists. The segment drew attention from seasoned collectors and curious first-time buyers, resulting in the successful sale of 11 art pieces with a total sales value exceeding RM30,000.
The July Auction Carnival 2025 was organized by NCM Co™, in collaboration with Owner Auction™ and Lapan Art Auction™ and participated by 13 banks. The team continues to push the boundaries of traditional auction formats through hybrid platforms, inclusive participation, and creative programming.
