KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Property Bhd has clinched the prestigious Platinum Award in the Property Development category at the 2024 Putra Brand Awards, marking its third consecutive year as the nation's preferred property developer.
The highly sought-after recognition is based on public voting, underscoring the trust and confidence Malaysians have in the company's brand, which has been built on a strong foundation of excellence, innovation and sustainability for over five decades.
Organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents of Malaysia in collaboration with Malaysia's Most Valuable Brands, the awards process includes an extensive online survey that gathered responses from over 11,000 participants across various product and service categories.
The company garnered the highest votes based on key criteria including brand familiarity, usage, impression, intent to purchase, and the likelihood of recommendation.
Its group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Azmir Merican said the public-voted award is a clear affirmation of the trust Malaysians place in SD Property as a leading property developer.
"We are honoured by this recognition, which reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality developments in line with our purpose as a value multiplier for people, businesses, economies and the planet," he said in a statement.
